I don't know how many times I've been insanely annoyed by that loud GDI Ferrari ad video clip!
Sound & video clips can enhance a website, but there are far more cases where it's annoying.

I hate videos that come out of nowhere. It’s distracting and assumes I want to watch the ad, which I rarely do. When I'm surfing traffic exchange sites and land on those pages I prefer not get the credit for that click and go right away to the next site if possible...

Pre-Roll Video Advertising is annoying, it interferes with my surfing (and music) and no one wants to watch or listen to repetitive in your face advertising... that's why people today have Tivo's.
